Saigon Centre is located at one of the main roads of Saigon – Le Loi Boulevard and occupies an entire city block, bordered by Pasteur, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia & Huynh Thuc Khang streets. The building is the most modern commercial center in Saigon, where is compared as a paradise for shopping, enjoy eating and drinking coffee. You can find a range of food brand on the top floor and the basement (lower fare). Some gorgeous coffee shops could be found on the first floor. In particular, there are plenty of options for high-end shopping such as clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, shoes, bags, etc.

Vincom Center

Vincom Center located in District 1, right in the heart of Saigon. With more than 250 shops, it is surely the most popular shopping mall. You could find the electronics, home décor or even supermarket in Vincom A. But it was more than that, it also has a variety of fashion brands such as Zara, H&M, Gap, Furla, etc. After a whole shopping day, there is a food court on the basement floor with the numerous restaurants. Besides, the entertainment centers, kid’s playroom and cinema are waiting for you to explode.

An Dong Market

An Dong Market is the biggest wholesale market of Saigon, located in District 5 and opens daily from 8:00 to 14:00. Most people live in District 5 is the Chinese Vietnamese, so it could be your advantage in bargaining if you can speak Cantonese. This market is mostly wholesaler of fashion and handicrafts stalls. So if you just look for a few of goods, you should do some research on pricing beforehand.

Tan Dinh Market

This place is a little bit different from all the destinations before. If you feel tired cause shopping whole day, so in the evening it will be a perfect destination for your empty stomach. Tan Dinh Market sells a variety of items such as jewelry, fabric, clothing, food, fruit, etc. Especially, street food is the one attractive most of people. On the corner of Hai Ba Trung and Tran Quang Khai, there is a paradise of food that can make your stomach smile. You can find any Vietnamese cuisine from Vietnamese spring rolls to noodle soup. Discovering all the food here should be added to your “Things to do in Saigon” list.

Flea Market

This place is just popular with the young people in recent years. So it has not been mentioned much in most Saigon travel reviews. Flea markets almost held outdoors but maybe indoors as in a warehouse or stadium with a dozen of booths. In common, flea markets can hold annually or semiannually. But in Vietnam, it can be monthly or every weekend. The market is brimming over with collectibles, unique and cheap items from fashion, cosmetics to home décor or housewares.

Shopping Streets

Walking around the streets of Saigon, tourist can easily see a lot of street stalls. These street stalls have become familiar for the people living in Saigon. They have all the things about fashion that you can imagine with a low-cost such as clothes, accessories, handbags, shoes, cosmetics, etc. In many Saigon travel reviews, the places have been mentioned a lot are Nguyen Trai Street, Canh Mang Thang Tam Street, Le Van Sy Street, Nguyen Van Binh Street (book street). Almost, these places start from the evening to the late night. Bonus, many fashion stores nowadays located in the old apartments or the basements, you can have lots of fun and new experiences here.
