Ke Ga, the oldest lighthouse in Vietnam, located about 20 km from the South of Phan Thiet city. Mui Ke Ga is located in Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province. If you are a travel enthusiast, traveling by motorcycles makes you feel extreme adventurous due to the wind and sunny along sides of the road.  One side is sea, the other one is the forest. From Ho Chi Minh City, there are 2 ways to go to Mui Ke Ga: departing from Highway 1A and then turning to provincial road 712 (Phan River charging station); after arriving Ba Ria town, along Highway 55, turning to provincial road 719.

At Ke Ga, you can feel the immense, majestic nature. The landscape is constantly changing: from the luxuriant forest shifting to the bushy blue dragon, sumptuous, straight lines on the hillside to the mountains covered with white sand. The most famous attraction in Ke Ga is Ke Ga Lighthouse. Visiting this lighthouse is one of the best things to do in Vietnam. This lighthouse was built by the French in 1897, inaugurated in 1899, considered as the oldest lighthouse in Vietnam. The lighthouse is located on the island of Ke Ga, far from the mainland. You can rent boats to come here. The lighthouse has a strong stand, soaring in the blue sky, combined with the yellow color of the granite to create its beauty.

Historically, Ke Ga is considered as an extremely dangerous position of the sea from Phan Rang to Vung Tau. It is assumed that the lighthouse is called Khe Ga or Ke Ga because the head of the land here has the chicken head slot.

Ke Ga is almost not a place for South Vietnam tour for families; this spot is mainly in the range of dust tourists.

If guests taking a walk around the island, they will see the whole island from different angles, the beauty of each porcelain, each row, each array of marble in the sunshine and especially top Lighthouse like the majestic point of the sea.

In addition to the lighthouse also has a large house square about 40m for each; under the house is a deep water tank 3m, and in front of the house is a well called Tien well. Around the lighthouse, there are two rows of porcelains built by the French. Now it has still been unspoiled throughout the year, contributing to a special feature of this land.

At the entrance of the Lighthouse, there was a large granite carved in 1899. This is a very marble plate because there is no stone in this area. According to some researchers, perhaps the French took the stone from another land as a way of decorating the lighthouse.

If observing carefully, visitors will see that these are not ordinary stones having four corners.  All the blocks used to build marble lighthouse are carved into each box, each shape matched with each other.

The ideal spot to see the whole island of Ke Ga and the lighthouse is Dien Da Vang tourist area, where visitors will watch the lighthouse lights at 6 pm with the distance of only 500 meters.
